CAMS Lab: Computing Sciences Laboratories Academic Advising: Faculty Seminar Series: The Department of Computing Science Faculty Seminar Series features informal presentation by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi faculty in Computer Science, Engineering Technology and Geographic Information Sciences. http://csci.tamucc.edu/seminars.html CS/AMP: Computing Sciences and Alliance for Minority Participation Program WITS Camp 2009: We are proud to announce the Women In Technology Summer (WITS) camp. The camp is for 20 young ladies who have just completed their sophomore, junior, or senior year in high school this summer. http://wits.tamucc.edu STORM Scholarships: We received a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant in August 2008 for "Attacking the Gathering Storm in Computer Sciences and Mathematics" (STORM) as a Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM) project. The overall goal of STORM is to increase the quantity and diversity of computer science (CS) and mathematics (MATH) students obtaining degrees. As a STORM scholar students are eligible for an up to $5,000 Scholarship award per academic year, a FREE Laptop Computer, and much more. http://storm.tamucc.edu CIRBL: Computing Infrastructure for Research-Based Learning is funded under NSF’s Computing Research Infrastructure (CRI) program. It's vision is to provide computing research opportunities for faculty and students and to enhance the computing education of students of the predominantly Hispanic population of the Coastal Bend region. http://csci.tamucc.edu/cirbl Counselor Camp: We invite all high school technology teachers and counselors to attend a one-day counselor camp that will describe our computer science program, inform you of the need of computing professionals, and show you the benefits of a computing career. In addition, you will be given a tour of our facilities and shown the opportunities your students will have in our department. Participants will receive information and literature to pass on to your students, with breakfast and lunch provided. In addition, participants will be given a travel stipend. http://csci.tamucc.edu/counselorcamp CS-0: The website contains a collection of assignments and samples from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi CS-0 Alice Course. http://csci.tamucc.edu/cs-0 CSET: The Computer Science Engineering Technology camp is primarily for incoming college freshmen who have undeclared majors. The camp is designed to introduce these freshmen to the fields of computer science and engineering technology.
