John S. Wood is an Adjunct Professor of Geographic Information Sciences, and a Research Associate (GIS) for the Center for Coastal Studies and the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies. His research interests include the use of spatial information in environmental applications and research, coastal and wetlands management, habitat conservation, site selection and planning, and GIS education. He is also a student in the TAMUCC Coastal & Marine Systems Science PhD. program, and has received a Harte Fellowship.
