Objectives
of the lab:
1. Create visual and textual
storyboards for one of the scenarios described in Exercise 1 at the end of
chapter 2. You may choose any one of the
three described. Mrs. Tedford will have
blank storyboard sheets for you to use.
Be sure to include both the visual storyboards and the textual
storyboards. For this exercise, you
should have a minimum of three storyboards/scenes. If you prefer to draw the scenes using Paint
or some similar graphics program, you may save this blank storyboard sheet and use it. Make sure you save each scene under a
different name if you choose to do “soft” copies (e.g., Chap2Exer1Scene1.doc,
Chap2Exer1Scene2.doc, etc.). If you opt
to do “hard” copies, make sure your name, the program name (upper
right corner of sheet), and the scene number are on each sheet. The program name should be Chap2Exer1.
2. Answer the questions found on this Chapter 2 Lab1 document in
your own words. Right click on
this link, select “Save Target As” (if you’re using Internet Explorer. If you’re using some other browser, select
the corresponding action), and save the document, using the default name
shown, to the 2390LastNameChap2Lab1 directory on the I:
drive or on your thumb drive. Open the
document in Word and answer the questions.
Make sure to save your work.
3. To receive full credit for this lab,
follow the directions in the dropbox instructions for
the “soft” copies to be submitted. The
directory into which you will place the document(s) for this lab should be
named 2390LastNameChap2Lab1 where LastName is your last name.
This directory that you will place in the dropbox should contain the
following documents:
4. If you chose to do hard copies for
part 1, you must put them in a folder and give them to Mrs. Tedford before
she leaves campus on the due date. On
Tuesdays, that will usually be about 4:30 pm.
On Wednesdays, that will usually be about 7:30 pm. The folder must have your name on the
outside. If you need a folder, see Mrs.
Tedford before the due date.
She has several extras in her office.
